Changing Passwords
Last Updated 6 days ago

You can not change your password directly with Google. In order to keep everything in sync we require that you change your computer password at KG or MG and that password will automatically sync to Google.

Once logged into a desktop/laptop at KG or MG, simply press Ctrl + Alt + Delete and click on 'Change Password'
-or-
You can use the following web portal, https://adfs.d91.net/adfs/portal/updatepassword/

The new password must be at least 12 characters long and must contain three (3) of the below categories,

  • Uppercase letters (A through Z, with diacritic marks, Greek and Cyrillic characters).
  • Lowercase letters (a through z, sharp-s, with diacritic marks, Greek and Cyrillic characters).
  • Base 10 digits (0 through 9).
  • Non-alphanumeric characters (special characters Ex: !@#$%^&*()-+ )
It can not contain your name or username.

While a very complex password such as '45t$#gRyDq89' may be hard to memorize. An easier alternative is to use a passphrase.

Creating a passphrase is a straightforward task. Select four words to ten words and create a sentence. It can be a song lyric you wrote, an inside joke, or something else. You can look around in your surroundings for ten random objects and combine them for a passphrase you are unlikely to forget.

For example, if I bought a green car in 2019, I could use the passphrase of 'GreenIsMyCar20!9'. This meets all the same complexity requirements, but is much easier to remember.
